This position is primarily responsible for developing, managing and maintaining business relationships; administering a portfolio of loans, analyzing creditworthiness, monitoring loan performance, and promoting the Bank’s image to develop new and expand existing loan deposit and overall business relationships, thereby contributing to the Bank’s profit and growth objectives. The incumbent provides the highest quality of service to every customer.
Develop and maintain business relationships by profiling and determining banking needs, selling products and services to meet those needs, and resolving performance issues professionally to develop new and expand existing loan deposit and overall business relationships.
Develop and administer a portfolio of loans by conducting sound credit analysis of customers’ financial conditions and ability to repay, in accordance with established policies, procedures and objectives such as portfolio yield, loss ratio and delinquency, while providing excellent customer service.
Analyze creditworthiness by determining the soundness of the loan, understanding the customer’s financial condition, collateral position and ability to repay in accordance with the Bank’s credit quality, profitability and growth objectives, and government regulations, to create a portfolio of quality loans that meet or exceed the bank’s standards.
Monitor loan performance by maintaining contact with borrowers, understanding their financial condition, and resolving problems in an accurate and timely manner to reduce risk from collateral deterioration or borrower’s inability to pay.
Promote the Bank’s image by participating in community development activities and service organizations, while ensuring compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act requirements and maintaining a favorable community image and contacts for new business.
Maintain personal program for continuous knowledge in business development, lending and other banking matters. Demonstrate personal and interpersonal behavior, attitude, judgment, communication and initiative with customers and employees to ensure an acceptable level of performance.
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
