Position Overview

As a Business Architect Sr within PNC’s Technology organization, this is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

• Designs business architecture, delivers technical roadmaps, application blueprints, data models, and system overlays for business processes.
• Decomposes business requirements against technical standards, assesses current technical gaps, and identifies application modules needed.
• Conducts risk assessments, governance processes, and issue resolution in business architecture.
• Deep knowledge in ServiceNow applications, configurations, business rules, data tables, plugin impacts, and technical leadership for platform integration, testing, and operations (e.g., ITOM, SACM, CSDM, Employee Experience).

PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. This is a remote role, work from a home location approved by PNC, and may not be available in all locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides guidance on business architecture designs, resolves complex problems, and ensures high-quality deliverables.
• Designs business architecture procedures, including target operating models and roadmaps aligned with business strategies.
• Advises junior staff on planning, processes, data modeling, and tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).
• Analyzes client requirements systematically and resolves functional issues.
• Ensures project deliverables comply with standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

Requires relevant knowledge, skills, and experience, including:

• Preferred Skills: Competitive advantages, customer solutions, enterprise architecture, machine learning, risk assessments, technical knowledge.
• Core Competencies: Business architecture, process modeling, consulting, industry knowledge, IT standards, planning, problem solving.
• Work Experience: Typically 8+ years, with a relevant university degree (Bachelor’s required; higher education or certifications desirable).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Certifications & Licenses: None required.

Additional Information

Salary range: $80,000 - $217,100. Salaries vary based on location, skills, and experience. Incentives based on performance.
