Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) is hiring a Senior Business Applications Analyst to enhance business processes through software applications. The role focuses on BI reporting, data integrity, and acting as a bridge between business units and IT to implement improvements and new releases.

The position supports end-user training and documentation, with a fully on-site work arrangement in the NOVEC network and a compensation package aligned to experience and market norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience including business analysis, DB administration, and workflow modeling.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for system modifications and reporting needs; recommend solutions.
• Document current state, issues, and improved processes within software systems.
• Manage application data integrity across corporate systems.
• Serve as a liaison between business users and IT staff; SME at senior level.
• Prepare and maintain end-user and software documentation and references.
• Coordinate software upgrades and ensure compatibility with applications.
• Develop business cases for software releases and upgrades.
• Test modifications and coordinate installation of new releases to end users.
