Qualifications

• Five years experience designing, building and supporting systems applications.
• Bachelor Degree
• EPIC Certification/Accreditation: Must obtain EPIC credential through either certification or accreditation within six weeks of completing Epic training

• Ensure quality assurance reviews.
• Liaise with vendors, physicians and facilities on system implementation and ongoing education.
• Define system scope and objectives based on user needs; study information systems needs and present recommendations.

Responsibilities

Under minimal supervision, the Senior Business Applications Systems Analyst Epic - Professional Billing (PB) defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems consider computer equipment capacity and system limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities. Studies information systems needs, investigates solutions and presents recommendations to management. Responsible for being team lead as assigned by management. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced analysts. Responsible for quality assurance review. This employee serves as a liaison for computer vendors, physicians, and other facilities as well as a resource for all users in the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing education assigned systems.
