Job summary

Vituity is seeking a Business and Data Analyst to join remotely nationwide. You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and Power Platform tools to enable stakeholder self-service, and you will design metrics for financial and operational performance of new products and services.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to define data definitions and business rules, ensure data quality, and deliver dashboards for leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Public Health, Technology, or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of data analysis experience in healthcare programs.
  • Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint) preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau and other BI tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

The Opportunity
  • Develop andmaintainPower BI dashboards, Power Platform solutions, and other technology tools that enable stakeholder self-service.

  • Interpret data toidentifytrends or root cause(s). Present findings or suggestions that may lead to improvement in care delivery and operational or financial success.
  • Maintainhigh standardsof data quality to ensure clean and reliable data isfeedinginto reports and dashboards.
  • Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.
  • Maintaina libraryof reports and dashboards for both operational and financial data.
  • Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations.Maintainhigh quality standards to ensureappropriate datause and accessibility.
  • Lead and fulfill standard and ad hoc data requests whereappropriateusing operational and financial data from both internal and external sources.
  • Provide financial support and tracking, including monthly invoice review.
  • Design,develop, and delivermetrics,reports, and dashboardsto management and clientsaround performance, finance, and operationstofacilitatekey business decisions.
  • Interpret data toidentifybusiness trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems,and recommend ways to streamline and improve business processes.
  • Serve as a consulting partner to operational leaders — scoping problems, evaluatingtechnologyoptions, and delivering solutions that range from process redesign to technology automation.
  • Design and build lightweight automation and workflow solutions (e.g., Power Automate, SharePoint, Power Apps) to reduce manual effort and improve process reliability.
  • Promote information sharing andcollaborationacross other Divisions or Business Units.
  • Design and implement performance improvement efforts and solutions with operational leaders.
  • Oversee and support tracking, coordination, and other activities that improve and sustain the financial health of practices and programs (e.g., AR, contract incentives, stipends, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the broader Vituity team on company-wide initiatives.
  • Collaborate with departmental leads, Business Analysts, and other Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to support the creation, implementation, and maintenance of reporting and technology solutions and workflow.
  • Assistwith the development and writing of site annual reports, operational assessments, and project proposals.
Required Experience and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, Health Administration, Public Health, Technology, or equivalent field required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare-focused programs required.
  • Proficiencyin Power BI (DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling) and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint)preferred.
  • ExperienceleveragingAI and agentic tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, intelligent automation) to accelerate analysis, development, and workflow efficiencypreferred.
  • 1-3yearsof experience in data analysis, planning, coordinating, and implementing healthcare-focused programspreferred.
  • Experience with Tableau and otherBusiness Intelligence (BI)toolspreferred.
  • Systemsthinkingability toidentifyroot causes, map dependencies, and design solutions that address upstream problems.
  • Ability to independently scope, design, and delivertechnologysolutions with minimal technical supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to establish credibility quickly with internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of program development and project management concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle detailed work accurately and quickly, work toward deadlines on multiple projects independently under limited supervision, and work as a team member in a collaborative and participatory manner.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $31.24 - $39.05, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
