Job summary

Plante Moran, PLLC is seeking a data engineering professional to architect and deploy client data environments, design and implement data warehouses, and develop ETL pipelines. You will work on API integrations, BI reports, and mentor junior staff, with opportunities to contribute to innovation projects.

The role requires 2+ years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and ETL skills, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Fabric/Synapse/AWS Redshift/Snowflake/Databricks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with data engineering and analytics deployment
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges
• Manage multiple concurrent data development projects
• Hands-on experience SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Fabric or similar ETL technologies
• Cloud data platform experience (Fabric, Synapse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Experience configuring, deploying, and/or administering a cloud data platform
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools and processes (ADO, GitHub, dbt)
• Strong SQL skills (stored procedures, CTEs, window functions, DDL/DML)
• Experience developing Python ETL scripts and APIs a plus
• Experience in manufacturing/construction industry a plus
• MS SQL Server / Azure / Fabric certifications a plus
• Experience developing BI reports

Responsibilities

Approximately < 20% overnight travel.

This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00
