Job summary

Austincc seeks a student for a work-integrated internship that blends classroom knowledge with practical experience in business and program administration. You will engage in planned, education-related work experiences and perform duties as assigned.

You will contribute by analyzing data, preparing reports, and supporting administrative services across programs. You will handle special projects, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and collaborate with teammates to resolve problems.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in an Associate’s degree program or higher.
• Must be at least 18 years old by the start of employment.
• Must maintain a full-time student status taking 9+ credit hours per semester before and after internship.
• Must maintain a full-time undergraduate status taking 12+ credit hours per semester before and after internship.
• Combination of training, experience, or education in Business, Accounting, or related field desired.

Responsibilities

• Recommend resolution to administrative or business problems resulting in an effective program.
• Provide administrative support services to assigned program areas.
• Research and compile data and prepare reports or presentations for a variety of programs or projects.
• Assume responsibility for special projects and assignments. Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Participate in planned and education-related work experiences.
• Collaborate with teammates and communicate with internal and external customers.
