Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Business Analytics Analyst to empower data-driven decisions across Operations and Business teams. You will develop BI solutions using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel, while analyzing data from JDE and other sources to deliver actionable insights.

You will collaborate with IT and vendors, maintain dashboards, and create clear documentation to support ongoing analytics initiatives that improve efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting or Computer & Information Science.
  • Proven ability to work with data and numbers, with experience in BI tools.
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI, Qlik, and SQL is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage business intelligence solutions for the organization.
  • Understand the information needs of business users and data sources (JDE, Cognos, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot issues and lead user training on BI tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to maintain analytics applications.
  • Create and maintain documentation for design, requirements, and user manuals.

It will play a critical role in enabling the users to utilize data to drive key strategic decisions, supporting the Operations and Business teams through taking ownership of Analytics support for assigned functional areas, and supporting the Analytics team in maintaining multiple dashboards and reports. The selected candidate will focus on delivering insights via data analysis from JDE, Non JDE data sources and manage a variety of analytics and technology enhancement initiatives & projects across supported functional areas.Primary Responsibilities:Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization. This includes understanding the information needs of the business users, familiarity with the data sources (JDE, COGNOS) and Amcor Applications (Sales Cloud, PlanView), and understanding of information and insight mechanisms like Tableau Dashboards, Power BI, Excel Reports, SQLTroubleshooting any reported issues by the users and supporting and leading the training of users.Collaborating with team members to collect data and execute the company’s mission using Tableau/Power BI.Drive interpretation, understanding, and adoption of analytic insights.Discovery and innovation in data analysis and technology to provide timely and accurate information at various levels of business and functional areasPartner and work closely with the IT Department team and vendors in the smooth functioning of the various analytic & tech applications.Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for the organizationIdentifying the development needs for streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitabilityQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting or Computer and Information Science.Proven strength and aptitude in working with data and numbersExcellent written, verbal and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal & Communication skillsPrior experience with visualization & reporting tools like Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI a plusPrior experience with data mining programs like SQL a plusProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Ability to collect and compile relevant data.Extremely organized with great attention to detail.Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.Strong business analysis skills.Works well independently and as part of a team.#LI-VA1Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
