Business Analytics Advisor - Evernorth (Finance)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Analytics Advisor role will be a member of the Express Scripts pharmacy pricing organization's dedicated Engine Redesign team. This team is responsible for developing and executing a successful solution to revolutionize the Cigna Group's pharmacy underwriting engines.

This role will initially focus on the redesign project (i.e., Project Apollo), transitioning to maintenance and support after project completion in 2026.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Develop and maintain core functionality within the Apollo Claims Engine (ACE), a Pharmacy Claims projection tool written using OCL code and eventually Python.
2. Serve as a trusted advisor in designing and developing the methodology used in the Apollo Claims Engine.
3. Engage with matrix partners to determine the level of complexity to add to the engine, informed by financial impact assessments.
4. Collaborate with the Cigna Pricing & Underwriting teams to ensure ACE meets their needs.
5. Assist in designing tools and processes for setting assumptions and testing updates to the ACE code.
