Job summary

Teknosys Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Technical Writer to support business process analysis and requirements for the Data Modernization Initiative project.

Responsibilities include stakeholder analysis, process mapping, documenting requirements, creating user stories, test scenarios, and UAT support. Travel is local; hybrid work arrangement with in-person interviews in Raleigh.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience documenting functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Strong writing and communication skills and can build relationships with team members and clients.
• Results-oriented with negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with customers in cross-divisional groups and maintain positive relationships.
• Understanding of SDLC concepts and PMI PMBOK Standards and methods.
• Experience with IT tools and documentation practices in healthcare contexts.

Responsibilities

• Conducts stakeholder analysis.
• Conducts market research and analysis.
• Identifies and documents current and future process workflows.
• Creates user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develops context diagrams, functional decomposition, and process workflows.
• Develops business process models, use cases, wireframes, ER diagrams, data dictionaries, system context diagrams.
• Gathers, documents and validates business, functional and technical requirements.
• Performs functional and integrated testing.
• Prepares project documentation and artifacts including analysis reports and user documentation.
• Works with project managers, developers and end users to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Creates and maintains requirements traceability matrix.
• Provides BA deliverables for procurement documents and procurement write-ups.
• UAT support with test scenarios and cases.
• Supports system go-live activities.
• Builds and documents transition requirements and gap analyses.
• Authors meeting minutes and user stories, test scripts and Agile deliverables.
• Follows PMO PM and BA methodology and attends PMO meetings.
• Travels in the Raleigh area for meetings.
