The Transport & Rail (T&R) Technology Analyst position advances organizational goals by supporting systems for daily operations, participating on cross-functional teams, leveraging data to find efficiency opportunities, providing insights for business stakeholders, and leading improvement projects. This role is ideal for a motivated, team-oriented individual with experience in leveraging and/or optimizing technology to improve work practices and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be a champion of change management.

This position will be located in Findlay, Ohio, or San Antonio, TX. Other MPC site locations may be considered for the right candidate.

This position is part of a job family with multiple grade levels. The successful candidate will be placed at a level appropriate to their experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day system administration support for business unit-specific systems, including troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators.
• Develop process maps and workflow diagrams to illustrate current and future states of business processes; identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization within existing workflows.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and propose effective and efficient solutions.
• Provide input and conduct testing for the development and implementation of new systems or process enhancements.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and train end-users on new systems or process enhancements.
• Ensure business needs are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders.
• Ensure implemented solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Serve as business liaison for internal and external audits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, logistics, project management, or continuous improvement is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, IT, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience with SAFe Agile or technology deployment standards is preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
