Job summary

CACI is seeking a Business Analyst - Software Tester in Chantilly, VA to lead testing efforts for information technology products and systems. The role focuses on defining test standards, coordinating testing activities, and delivering comprehensive test plans in an AGILE environment.

Qualified candidates will have TS/SCI clearance, automa ted testing experience, and strong leadership and project-management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5–7 years of related experience.
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Experience in an Agile environment and Scrum.
  • Automated testing and security testing.
  • Proficient with MS TFS and security testing tools (Zap).
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and project-management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and people-management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define and develop test standards for IT products and systems.
  • Review and evaluate test specifications, results, trends; implement corrective actions.
  • Determine optimal testing approaches to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Coordinate integrated testing activities and prepare comprehensive test plans.
  • Lead and motivate the test team; establish quality standards and provide feedback.
  • Develop test automation strategy for AGILE projects.

The Opportunity

CACI has an immediate need for a Software Tester (ST) to support our Client in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

With a wide range of knowledge, the ST defines and develops test standards for the testing of information technology products, equipment, or systems in accordance with company and contractual requirements. The ST reviews and evaluates complex test specifications, test results, test trends and implements corrective action as needed. The ST is responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions to assure compliance with applicable specifications. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes. The ST combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. The ST develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems. The ST coordinates integrated testing activities, reviews, and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program, performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.

  • Develop test automation strategy for projects in AGILE methodology
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 5 – 7 years of related experience.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
