The Business Analyst supports enterprise business solutions operations by performing analytical work requiring root cause analysis and/or audits of existing business processes, procedures, and systems to identify and implement improvement initiatives. Critical responsibilities include testing and documentation of systems, ensuring operational data integrity, ease of use, proper functionality, and alignment with set objectives.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Alternatively, five (5) years of health-related non-clerical experience in insurance, managed care, healthcare, or technology organizations will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum five (5) years of business analysis experience with complex system technology. In-depth knowledge of insurance technology systems such as claims processing, marketing, membership, enrollment, customer service, financial, and provider systems. An applicable Master’s degree with at least three (3) years’ experience is also acceptable.
Project Management experience is preferred.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES
This position is level three (3). It requires maintaining the security and confidentiality of records and information to prevent harm or unfairness, as outlined in the company’s Administrative Manual.
Adhere to segregation of duties guidelines to prevent errors and irregularities, as per the Administrative Manual.
Regular
This role involves general office work, with occasional lifting up to 40 lbs and travel within walking distance of the primary work location as necessary.
