Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the Salesforce engineering team. The Business Analyst will lead discovery, requirements elicitation, process analysis, user-story definition, acceptance criteria, UAT coordination, and stakeholder alignment. Strong communication is a non-negotiable requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with U.S.-based business stakeholders and product owners to understand business objectives, pain points, and desired outcomes.
- Lead requirement-gathering workshops, interviews, walkthroughs, and process-discovery sessions.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, process flows, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
- Maintain traceability from business requirements through development, testing, UAT, and release.
- Partner with Salesforce Architects and Developers to validate feasibility and clarify requirements.
- Perform current-state/future-state analysis, gap analysis, and process optimization.
- Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, UAT preparation, and business sign-off activities.
- Coordinate UAT with business users, manage feedback, and drive issue clarification and resolution.
- Identify dependencies, assumptions, risks, and decisions requiring stakeholder action.
- Create and maintain BRD/FRD, user stories, process maps, data requirements, and functional documentation as appropriate.
- Use Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools to manage requirements and delivery artifacts.
- Communicate complex functional topics clearly to both business and technical audiences.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Salesforce/CRM functional experience with understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or relevant Salesforce capabilities.
- Excellent requirement elicitation, process mapping, user-story writing, acceptance-criteria definition, and UAT skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Banking, or Financial Services experience is preferred for BFSI programs.
- Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, or other relevant certification is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
