Join to apply for the Business Analyst (Remote Opportunity) role at VetsEZ.

VetsEZ is seeking a remote Business Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs as part of a remote team. The ideal candidate must have experience creating work breakdown structures, developing program schedules, and assigning software development team personnel to tasks. Engaging with business stakeholders, collecting, and evaluating business needs and processes are essential skills.

Responsibilities

1. Lead a team and engage in all aspects of SAFe Agile software development, primarily for planning and design.
2. Identify and resolve project issues, analyze complex business problems, and determine IT solutions.
3. Understand Behavior-Driven and Test-Driven development methodologies.
4. Collaborate with Developers and UX/UI designers to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
5. Coordinate documentation updates, team communications, and conduct post-project evaluations.
6. Define objectives and scope of business systems, gather and analyze business data and user needs.
7. Provide recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support client goals.
8. Work closely with managers and end users to identify the best IT solutions.
9. Work cross-functionally with different team members and stakeholders.
10. Support team objectives and project success by taking on additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
2. At least 8 years of professional analyst experience.
3. Experience in data analytics and programming.
4. Designing basic UX/UI with wireframes and presenting them to clients.
5. Experience with ServiceNow and Atlassian JIRA.
6. Research, analysis, and requirements elaboration experience.
7. Certifications such as CBAP, IIBA, or Certified SAFe Practitioner.
8. Experience teaching processes and tools to new users.
9. Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Project.
10. Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Project.
11. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Additional Qualifications

1. Experience with SAFe/Agile; Certified SAFe Practitioner preferred.
2. Experience with the VA or other government agencies.
3. Ability to obtain government clearance.
