Business Analyst/Power BI Developer – Finance & Accounting

100% Remote – but must be Chicago based as we get together a couple times/month for dinner and other social outings.

Summary

We are a profitable cryptocurrency-based company that has bootstrapped a business to $100MM in revenue. We have about 30 employees and are now looking to bring our software development/IT function in-house, having previously used third-party providers.

We are seeking a Business Analyst/Power BI Developer to work with data from our accounting system (NetSuite – experience not required) and develop dashboards using Power BI. The role involves dashboard development, data input into NetSuite, financial analysis, and presenting insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Report to the CFO and analyze financial data from the accounting systems.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand goals and derive insights from financial data.
3. Input data into the accounting systems.
4. Develop dashboards and reports based on accounting data.
5. Present data insights to stakeholders and recommend actions.
6. Coordinate with IT and other business units to support BI initiatives.

Skills We're Seeking
