Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies seeks an experienced Senior QA Analyst to lead end-to-end manual testing across complex enterprise applications. You will craft test plans, execute UI/API tests, and manage defects through resolution, collaborating with developers, analysts and architects throughout the SDLC.

The role involves test strategy development, working in ALM Octane or similar tools, and contributing to release readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong experience performing true end-to-end manual testing across complex enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated experience creating test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Strong understanding of defect management and root cause analysis.
• Experience with: Functional Testing UI Testing API/Web Services Testing Integration Testing Database Testing SQL (basic query writing and validation) Postman SOAP UI Splunk JIRA ALM Octane or similar test management tools Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience testing systems involving order management, billing, or complex transactional workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test plans, and detailed test scenarios for assigned projects.
• Create and maintain test cases within ALM Octane or similar test management tools.
• Perform end-to-end manual functional testing across front-end and back-end systems.
• Execute UI, API, integration, and database testing activities.
• Validate data flow and functionality across multiple interconnected applications.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Analyze test results and provide clear testing status updates and release readiness reports.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, and project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support test execution reporting and quality metrics reporting.
• Assist with automation test execution and failure triage when applicable.

Senior QA Analyst (Manual Testing)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst with strong end-to-end manual testing expertise to support complex web-based and integrated applications. This role requires someone who can thoroughly analyze business and system requirements, create comprehensive test plans and test cases, execute testing activities, identify defects, and work closely with development teams through resolution. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who enjoys digging into technical issues, understanding system integrations, and ensuring high-quality releases across multiple interconnected platforms.

You will support a complex ordering workflow consisting of multiple integrated applications and downstream systems. This includes validating user interactions, API communications, data integrations, and billing-related processes. Success in this role requires understanding how information moves across systems and the ability to investigate issues from the user interface through backend services and databases.
