Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies, a premier national IT staffing group, seeks an experienced Senior QA Analyst (Manual Testing) to support complex web-based and integrated applications. You will develop end-to-end test strategies, create detailed tests, and drive quality across front-end, back-end, and data interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience performing true end-to-end manual testing across complex enterprise applications.
• Ability to create test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Strong understanding of defect management and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test plans, and detailed test scenarios for assigned projects.
• Create and maintain test cases within ALM Octane or similar test management tools.
• Perform end-to-end manual functional testing across front-end and back-end systems.
• Execute UI, API, integration, and database testing activities.
• Validate data flow and functionality across multiple interconnected applications.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, and project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support test execution reporting and quality metrics reporting.
• Assist with automation test execution and failure triage when applicable.

We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst with strong end-to-end manual testing expertise to support complex web-based and integrated applications. This role requires someone who can thoroughly analyze business and system requirements, create comprehensive test plans and test cases, execute testing activities, identify defects, and work closely with development teams through resolution.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who enjoys digging into technical issues, understanding system integrations, and ensuring high-quality releases across multiple interconnected platforms.

Senior QA Analyst (Manual Testing)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test plans, and detailed test scenarios for assigned projects.
• Create and maintain test cases within ALM Octane or similar test management tools.
• Perform end-to-end manual functional testing across front-end and back-end systems.
• Execute UI, API, integration, and database testing activities.
• Validate data flow and functionality across multiple interconnected applications.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Analyze test results and provide clear testing status updates and release readiness reports.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, and project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support test execution reporting and quality metrics reporting.
• Assist with automation test execution and failure triage when applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience performing true end-to-end manual testing across complex enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated experience creating test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Strong understanding of defect management and root cause analysis.

• Experience with Jenkins or CI/CD testing processes.
• Telecommunications, cable, or related industry experience.
