Role Overview

This role focuses on conducting operational and financial analyses to support informed decision-making. The position involves working on special projects, performing research, and developing reports. The focus is on business analytics, operational insights, executive reporting, and data storytelling, rather than data engineering or dashboard development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct moderate to complex operational analyses, working with cross-functional teams to optimize business performance.
• Apply data visualization techniques using Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel to generate insights from business data.
• Lead process mapping initiatives, ensuring workflows align with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
• Develop cost models and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Synthesize complex operational data, metrics, and trends into concise, executive-ready deliverables for Director and VP-level audiences.
• Gather and connect information across multiple IT operational towers to develop a cohesive view of performance and dependencies.
• Shape the overall leadership narrative by structuring key messages and articulating key takeaways.
• Independently manage assignments from initial information gathering and analysis through to the delivery of a polished, executive-ready product.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field is required.

Experience: 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, market intelligence, and business process improvement.

Technical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights within complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Platform Analytics, reporting, and dashboards, including IT operational KPIs.
• Experience tracking, validating, and interpreting IT performance metrics.
• Strong PowerPoint skills for creating and managing executive-level presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of IT Operations or technology environments.

• Ability to turn complex data into clear, concise, leadership-ready insights and presentations.
• A proactive and self-sufficient individual able to drive assignments forward with minimal supervision.
• An investigative mindset with the ability to connect disparate information and surface risks or opportunities.
• Experience working closely with leadership to understand objectives and translate needs into analytical deliverables.
• Ability to distinguish between supporting detail and the information most relevant to senior leadership.
