Job summary

Gildan is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support its software applications by analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and training end users. This role reports to the Director of IT and sits in the IT Department.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in information technology and 5+ years of experience in corporate systems analysis and design, plus strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions.
  • Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

The opportunity

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for the day to day support of Gildan's suite of software applications by solving organizational information problems and requirements by analyzing requirements; designing solutions; recommending system controls and protocols and training end users. This position sits in the IT Department reporting directly to the Director, IT.
