Job summary

DTCC invites top students to join its IT organization as a Business Analyst Intern for a structured 10-week summer program. You will connect business processes with technology delivery, support operational improvements, and engage stakeholders to translate strategy into practical solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience in Agile delivery, process mapping, data analysis, and reporting while contributing to governance and continuous improvement initiatives within a collaborative summer cohort.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, CS, CE, MIS, or related major.
Expected graduation Fall 2027 or Summer 2028.
Minimum GPA: 3.2.
Authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
Foundational understanding of business analysis, process improvement, data analysis, technology delivery, or operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with gathering, analyzing, and documenting business needs, operational requirements, process insights, and project objectives that support technology initiatives, process improvement efforts, and organizational priorities.
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, operations leads, and project teams to understand business needs, document processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the development of clear project deliverables and recommendations.
Map current-state and future-state business processes, identify interdependencies between teams, tools, controls, data, and technology delivery activities, and help recommend improvements that reduce friction and improve execution.
Support Agile delivery activities through status tracking, dependency coordination, action-item management, testing support, meeting preparation, and development of materials for team, management, and leadership reviews.
Conduct data analysis, reporting, research, testing, and documentation activities to identify trends, develop insights, support issue resolution, and help stakeholders make informed decisions that improve operational governance and continuous improvement.
Support the end-to-end data lifecycle by integrating, transforming, validating, and analyzing data from multiple sources to develop reliable data assets, enable reporting and analytics, and deliver insights that support business and technology outcomes.
Help maintain job aids, process documentation, workflow summaries, project artifacts, and operating rhythm materials that enable consistent execution across the organization.
Contribute to work that improves operational efficiency, visibility, accountability, and alignment across business management, portfolio management, service delivery, and technology operations.
