Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Business Analyst III for a 6-month contract in Tualatin, OR, at 20 hours per week. You will support Digital Channels, including the public-facing website, and perform both project and production work within an embedded agile team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of BA experience, with CBAP/AAC/PMP being a plus. You will participate in daily standups, story writing, and collaboration with Product Owners, Devs, and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Nice to have CBAP, IIBA-AAC, PMP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support Digital Channels, including mobile and the public-facing website.
• Contribute to both project work and production support activities.
• Attend agile ceremonies each morning (daily standups, demos, Storytime).
• Coordinate with product owners, developers, and QA on requirements and designs.
• Write user stories, process flows, and functional designs; answer questions for developers/QA.
• Collaborate with onshore resources, participate in workshops, and remove roadblocks.

Job Description

• This Business Analyst will support Digital Channels. Including Mobile, the Public Facing portion of our website.
• Support includes both project and production support work.
• Mornings will be usually reserved for agile ceremonies such as daily standup, product demos, and Storytime.
• Individual products will have their own meetings to follow up on requirements or socializing changes to stake holders.
• Additionally, time is spent on answering developer and QA questions, writing stories and other project artifacts like process flows and functional designs.
• There might be additional workshops or requirements sessions with onshore resources.
• It’s expected to reach out to whomever is needed to answer questions and get roadblocks removed.
• The BA is embedded into an agile development team with close collaboration with Product Owners, Devs, and QA.
• Moderate interaction with Customer/Business Partner, and more distant interaction with hiring manager.
• Top priority in the initial phase will be coming up to speed on Digital Channel architecture, Features, and start to become familiar with Basic C2M functionality.
• Learn about the current in-flight projects to take over/support the dev teams working on those projects.
• Quickly learn and adapt to the system architecture and controlling scope.
• After getting started on projects, a lot of self-direction and motivation is desired.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, management information systems, or a related field is typically required.
• Min 5 Years of experience.
• Nice to have Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA-AAC), Project Management Professional (PMP)
