Job summary

Ollie is seeking a Business Analyst to drive the design, documentation, and testing of software solutions that align with business goals. You will partner with business units and IT leadership to map processes, gather requirements, and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Ideal candidates will have UKG Pro/UKG Ready experience, strong written and verbal communication, and a track record of delivering accurate, detail-oriented analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or equivalent experience working as a Business Analyst.
• Experience in UKG Pro and UKG Ready preferred.
• Experience in writing queries preferred.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and communicate new information and processes to IT and business associates within the company.
• Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with business partners to implement, optimize, and enhance effective business solutions.
• Partner with IT leadership to document current and new business processes and help identify issues and design maintainable technical solutions during project execution.
• Support development by providing solutions to problems through gap analysis (with oversight from leadership).
• Perform quality assurance and testing (with oversight) and review results with leadership and developers.
• Contribute to the enhancement and documentation of software development techniques and standards.
• Manage your activities within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Prepare and maintain technical change documentation supporting the development and implementation of new software and enhancements.
• Present completed software features to stakeholders as part of the development lifecycle to validate functionality and support final testing and acceptance.
• Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being delivered.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
