Job summary

Aafes seeks an entry-level business analyst to develop a strong understanding of the assigned program. Under close supervision, you will extract data and provide analysis to associates, working with stores, vendors, and HQ staff.

The role involves analyzing business conditions, preparing reports, and supporting policy development. Onsite work at HQ Dallas with possible remote allowance for eligible military spouses.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in analysis, evaluations or other substantive determinations relating to marketing/purchasing/sales and operating programs.
• Ability to interpret written materials and organize/coordinating work.
• Onsite work with HQ in Dallas, TX; remote work may be possible for military spouse exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing business conditions and developing business policies.
• Compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

This is the entry level position in business analysis. The associate will develop a high degree of understanding of their assigned program. Under close supervision, they will extract data concerning their program and provide analysis of this data to associates. They will work extensively with stores, vendors, and HQ staff.

Job Qualifications

Three years of experience in analysis, evaluations or other substantive determinations with regard to current and/or projected marketing/purchasing/sales and other operating programs, interpreting written materials and organizing/coordinating work.

Or

Bachelor's degree with one year of experience in analysis, evaluations or other substantive determinations with regard to current and/or projected marketing/purchasing/sales and other operating programs, interpreting written materials and organizing/coordinating work.

Degree (one of):

• BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION - Preferred

Major/Minor (one of):

• BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION - Preferred
• BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - Preferred
• FINANCE - Preferred

Additional Qualifications/Requirements

Work – Onsite (HQ – Dallas, Texas)

Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems)

• Vendor/supplier onboarding execution, Item setup and product-data literacy, working knowledge of system touchpoints
