• Understand how trades and related business activity flow through the organization and how different business and operational functions interact.
• Translate complex business and operational needs into clear, actionable requirements.
• Engage stakeholders to move beyond surface-level requests and identify the underlying business problem.

• Support initiatives affecting CIB and frontline business organizations.

Job Title: Business Analyst - Global Markets / Middle Office Operations

Duration: 12-month contract with potential with extend to 24 months

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Description:

Seeking a senior, highly analytical Business Analyst with deep financial services, Global Markets, trading, and middle-office business experience to support initiatives within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB).

10+ years of relevant financial services experience is expected, consistent with the senior/VP-level scope of the role.

Strong background as a business/operations-focused Business Analyst

Partner directly with Global Markets, trading, operations, compliance, and other business stakeholders to understand business needs and operational challenges.

Analyze end-to-end business and middle-office processes, identifying risks, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Gather, document, challenge, and refine detailed business and functional requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of relevant financial services experience.

Significant Business Analyst experience in a business-facing or operational capacity.

Demonstrated Global Markets, trading, and/or middle-office experience.

Strong knowledge of financial markets and banking operations.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Operations and/or compliance-oriented Business Analyst background.

Experience within middle-office trading environments.

Hedge fund-related experience.

Global Markets or broader capital-markets experience.
