Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Business Analyst / EDI Functional Analyst for an independent contractor role in Dallas, TX. Start ASAP with a 12+ month contract and pay range $55–$60 per hour on a 1099/C2C basis.

The role focuses on gathering and validating EDI requirements, mapping transaction sets, coordinating trading partners, and ensuring adherence to EDI standards and best practices. Strong SQL, BRD/FRD, and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Business Analysis experience with strong focus on EDI implementations.
  • Experience with EDI mapping and integration platforms.
  • Strong understanding of EDI communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTP, and VAN.
  • Experience creating BRD, FRD, user stories, and process workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and optimize EDI workflows.
