Job summary

Amazon's Fuse Billing Operations team is hiring a Business Analyst to analyze trends, build reporting, and drive data-based decisions across finance, product, and operations. You will identify root causes, resolve data discrepancies, and engage with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to deliver results.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, proficient in SQL and Excel, and can communicate insights clearly. Experience with Tableau and reconciling data across systems is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots) and Tableau experience.
• 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience with Excel and SQL.
• Experience defining requirements and using data to draw business insights.
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating from multiple large data sources and compiling it into a digestible format.
• Solve reconciliation issues by diving into the data and implementing solutions to resolve defects.
• Communicate complex analyses and insights at scale to stakeholders and senior leaders, both verbally and in writing.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and solve business problems with focus on root causes and forward-looking opportunities.
• Create and maintain tools, reports, and analyses which support senior leadership and various teams.
