TEKsystems, a leading technology staffing firm, is seeking a Business Analyst Consultant / PMO Analyst for a 12-month contract in Honolulu, HI. You will partner with business, operations, and tech teams to drive an acquisition and conversion program, document requirements, map data, and coordinate testing and readiness activities.

The role requires 5+ years in BA/PMO/coordination, experience with large-scale implementations, and proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in business analysis, PMO, or project coordination roles.

Business Analyst Consultant (PMO Analyst)

Location: Honolulu, HI (Hybrid)

12-month Contract Opportunity

Overview

TEKsystems is partnering with a leading financial services organization that is undergoing a large-scale acquisition and conversion initiative focused on retail banking products and customer-facing services. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Consultant / PMO Analyst to support critical integration activities, including requirements gathering, process analysis, system integrations, testing coordination, operational readiness, and conversion planning.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented business analyst who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys collaborating across business and technology teams to drive successful enterprise transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Partner with business, operations, technology, product, risk, and compliance stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to identify business needs, dependencies, and impacts.
• Create and maintain business process documentation, workflows, use cases, user stories, and functional requirements.
• Analyze current and future-state processes and recommend improvements.
• Identify business risks, process gaps, and operational impacts associated with acquisition and conversion activities.

Integration & Conversion Support

• Support system integration, data mapping, product mapping, and conversion readiness initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across business and technology workstreams.
• Track dependencies, risks, and issues impacting project delivery.
• Assist with planning and execution of major conversion milestones.

Testing & Operational Readiness

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and defect management.
• Coordinate test scenarios, business validation activities, and testing sign-offs.
• Monitor testing progress and elevate issues when necessary.
• Assist with operational readiness assessments and conversion readiness documentation.
• Support training, communication and change management initiatives.

PMO & Project Coordination

• Maintain project plans, RAID logs, action items, and status reporting.
• Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, and project documentation.
• Facilitate project meetings and document key decisions and follow‑up actions.
• Track project milestones, timelines, resource needs, and dependencies.
• Support governance and reporting processes for senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, PMO Analyst, Project Coordinator, or a similar role.
• Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, enterprise transformation programs, mergers, acquisitions, or conversion projects.
• Strong background in:

• Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions across cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting UAT planning and execution.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking, financial services, or fintech experience.
• Experience supporting retail banking products, digital banking initiatives, or core banking conversions.
• Experience with data migration and system integration projects.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of change management and operational readiness practices.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMP, PMI‑PBA, or Scrum Master.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve business analysis, reporting, documentation, or project management processes.

Job Type & Location

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
