The role involves collaboration across stakeholders,UAT support, and documentation such as BRDs and use cases, within an Agile/Waterfall environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with requirements elicitation techniques and documentation standards.
• Familiarity with process modeling tools (BPMN, Visio) and project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements from stakeholders across banking operations.
• Translating business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Conducting gap analysis and process mapping for banking systems and workflows.
• Supporting UAT, validating that solutions meet business requirements.
• Preparing business cases, process flows, and documentation (BRDs, FSDs, use cases).
• Liaising between business units, IT teams, and external vendors throughout project delivery.
• Participating in Agile/Waterfall project cycles, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Role overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst with proven experience in the banking sector to bridge business needs and technical solutions, gathering, analyzing and documenting requirements across banking products and processes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements from stakeholders across banking operations
• Translating business needs into functional specifications for technical teams
• Conducting gap analysis and process mapping for banking systems and workflows
• Supporting UAT (User Acceptance Testing), validating that solutions meet business requirements
• Preparing business cases, process flows, and documentation (BRDs, FSDs, use cases)
• Liaising between business units, IT teams, and external vendors throughout project delivery
• Participating in Agile/Waterfall project cycles, including sprint planning and backlog grooming

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with solid exposure to the banking/financial services sector
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, IT, or related field
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements
• Experience with requirements elicitation techniques and documentation standards
• Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio) and project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, ECBA) is a plus
