Job summary

Serigor is seeking a Business Analyst 3 (Hybrid) in Austin, TX, for a 10-month engagement. The role involves reviewing, analyzing, and evolving business systems to align with strategic goals, performing detailed requirement documentation, and supporting data governance and enterprise analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings extensive BA/Data Analyst experience, strong SQL skills, and a proven ability to liaise between business stakeholders and IT teams throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering.


• Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.


• 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Min 5 years of experience, served as a liaison between the Business community and Customer IT Teams (i.e., Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustain, etc.). Strong experience as a Data Analyst in analyzing raw data, and as a Business Analyst in requirements gathering, understanding technology, and any project management experience with PMP are a huge plus.

Additional Job Details and Special Considerations

• Strong experience as a Business/Data Analyst performing requirements elicitation, business process analysis, data profiling, source-to-target mapping, data validation, and complex SQL analysis in large enterprise or government environments.


• Proven ability to document BRDs, functional requirements, business rules, KPIs, data dictionaries, and data lineage while collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and reporting teams throughout the SDLC.


• Experience supporting data governance, gap analysis, UAT, and enterprise reporting/analytics initiatives with strong communication and facilitation skills
