Akaasa Technologies seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support Mainframe Reports and Extract initiatives. The role demands strong reporting development, data analysis, and requirements gathering for data-centric projects.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, validating requirements, and guiding UAT, testing, and deployment activities. Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, and oil & gas domain is required for success.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of strong interpersonal, collaboration, analytical, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English.
• 8+ years of experience gathering business requirements and creating reports.
• 8+ years of experience facilitating the development and analysis of business requirements and collaborating with business stakeholders to design technical solutions.
• 5+ years of experience participating in and providing guidance for UAT, training, and implementation-related activities.
• 2+ years of experience with Snowflake and Power BI.
• 2+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with Railroad Commission of Texas oil and gas systems.
• Experience with mainframe reporting, data extracts, and enterprise reporting initiatives.
• Experience with data publishing through public-sector data portals or government websites.

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements for reporting and data-related projects.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain reports using Power BI and other applicable reporting tools.
• Work with Snowflake to support data analysis, reporting, and data-related requirements.
• Perform data analysis and root cause analysis to identify and resolve data errors and inconsistencies.
• Document data flows, data dependencies, reporting processes, and system requirements.
• Support the Mainframe Reports and Extract initiative and related, interconnected projects.
• Facilitate business process reviews and recommend improvements to reporting workflows.
• Develop, coordinate, and validate user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Guide business users through testing, training, implementation, and deployment-related activities.
• Support data publishing to the DIR Open Data Portal and the RRC website.
• Ensure deliverables, reports, and documentation meet established quality standards and business analysis methodologies.
• Research technical and business issues and provide support for special projects.
• Coordinate with technical teams and business personnel to ensure project deliverables are completed successfully.
• Work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative in resolving complex business and reporting challenges.

Job Summary

• Seeking an experienced Business Analyst 3 with strong report development and data analysis expertise to support its Mainframe Reports and Extract initiative.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience gathering business requirements, developing reports, analysing data, documenting data flows, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT). Hands-on experience with Power BI and Snowflake is required. Experience in the oil and gas industry.
