Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a Business Analyst who translates business questions into reliable data, systems, and process improvements across revenue and operating teams. You will work with CRM, billing, finance, and BI environments to turn fragmented data into clear decisions and scalable processes.

You will analyze performance, document workflows, and partner with Sales, Finance, and Engineering to drive system changes and governance. Strong SQL/Excel and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in business analysis, revenue operations, sales operations, finance systems, or a related analytical role.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills, including querying relational data, building models, and reconciling data across systems.
• Hands-on experience with CRM and business systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear requirements, process documentation, and measurable success criteria.
• Experience building or improving operational reports and dashboards, with a strong understanding of data quality, metric definitions, and governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Bonus: Experience with Salesforce administration, dbt, Python, SaaS revenue metrics, subscription billing, or enterprise system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
• Analyze data from CRM, ERP, billing, and BI systems using SQL, Excel, and dashboarding tools to identify trends, gaps, and operational risks.
• Own reporting deliverables for revenue and operating metrics, including pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, conversion rates, retention, and productivity.
• Document current-state and future-state workflows, identify control points and bottlenecks, and recommend measurable process improvements.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, and Engineering to scope system changes, validate solutions, and manage issues through delivery.
• Maintain data definitions, business rules, and documentation for key metrics, integrations, and recurring reporting processes.
• Test system and reporting changes by creating validation plans, reconciling outputs, and coordinating user acceptance testing.
