Overview

The Leidos CivilNISC IV team is seeking a Business Analyst to support an agile project with the FAA. We are developing new structures and applications for our customer supporting the Civil Aviation Registry Electronic Services (CARES) initiative. We value collaborative, forward-thinking individuals eager to tackle challenges and create innovative solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Gather and analyze the business needs of the customer to implement solutions addressing complex business problems.
2. Serve as the primary liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
3. Develop and manage requirements documentation and requirements management processes.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in defining system documentation requirements from technical input.
• Experience with UML diagramming and design documentation.
• Knowledge of Data Flow Diagrams and Use Cases development.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience in writing Technical White Papers and system design documents.
• Effective presentation skills and proven problem-solving abilities.
• Self-management skills with mentoring ability.
• Experience with ALM tools for requirements management.
• Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and executing tests.

Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency with at least 3 years of residence in the U.S.

Additional Requirements

All new hires must pass a drug test prior to starting at Leidos.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL, JDBC.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks.
• Previous experience in the aviation industry.
• Agile certification (desired).
• Experience with automation testing tools (desired).
• IIBA-AAC Certification (preferred).
• PMI-ACP certification (preferred).
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience (preferred).
