Job summary

Integral Federal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support requirements discovery, refinement, and validation across VA OIT PDS BAM MBS product lines. You will deliver secure IT solutions, produce user stories with acceptance criteria, and assist with PI planning and strategic alignment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT with 6–10 years’ experience and experience with Jira, GitHub, and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT-related degree with 6 - 10 years’ experience.
• Experience supporting PI Planning, strategic planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and KPI development.
• Experience performing requirement estimation, dependency mapping, complexity scoring, and regression impact analysis.
• Experience documenting requirements in enterprise repository tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, Confluence).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, Architecture, Testing, Integration, System Teams
• Requirements elicitation/elaboration; epics/stories; acceptance criteria; business-process modeling; backlog; dependency analysis; UAT/HCD
• Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirement intake, dependency identification, and estimation of work complexity.

The Senior Business Analyst supports requirements discovery, refinement, and validation activities across the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Product Delivery Services (PDS), Benefits and Memorials (BAM), Memorial and Benefit Services (MBS) product line to deliver secure, reliable, and effective Information Technology (IT) solutions that support the Department’s mission.

Responsibilities
