Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Business Analyst for a remote role focused on Airport Experience technology products. The contract spans 6+ months with extensions and requires US-based candidates. Pay ranges from $35 to $40 per hour, on a W2 contract basis.

Responsibilities include eliciting and documenting business requirements, writing user stories, coordinating with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders, and supporting UAT and backlog refinement. SDLC experience and AI exposure are pluses.

• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Experience participating in UAT and release activities
• Ability to facilitate conversations between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Experience conducting requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews
• Experience with backlog management and refinement
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Experience supporting software development teams through the SDLC
• Bonus: Exposure to AI, chatbots, automation initiatives, or digital transformation projects

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Airport Experience technology products, translating operational needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and solution requirements.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define problems, clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and ensure initiatives are ready for development.
• Support AI product development by translating business use cases into well‑defined requirements, including expected outcomes, data needs, business rules, user experience, and success criteria.
• Support the ongoing refinement and management of product backlogs, helping evaluate new requests, identify gaps, and prepare work for prioritization and delivery.
• Support UAT and solution validation, including validating AI‑powered experiences for accuracy, relevance, usability, and alignment with the intended business need.
• Analyze user feedback, product performance, and operational pain points to identify trends and recommend opportunities for product and AI capability improvements.
• Serve as a key liaison between Airport Operations, Product, and Engineering teams, proactively communicating requirements, decisions, risks, dependencies, and changes throughout the product lifecycle.

Business Analyst (Remote) - AIRLINE INDUSTRY Client

Pay Range: $35-$40/hour

Duration: 6+ month W2 Contract w/ extensions (not 1099)

Location: 100% remote role, no timezone preference (must be US-based)

What You’ll Do

Pay and Benefits
