Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract role in Saint Louis, MO. The position supports a reorganization project impacting Workday and UKG, turning transition scope into clear business requirements, testing strategy, and a smooth hand-off to the business.

The role will collaborate with People Team, business and IT stakeholders to understand how each system, process and integration is affected, document requirements and ensure day-one readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst or HR/Payroll systems analyst.
• Hands-on experience with Workday (HCM, Payroll, Absence, Compensation or Benefits).
• Experience supporting an entity transition, merger, acquisition or organizational change.
• Experience partnering with IT teams on system configuration, integrations and testing.
• Experience developing test strategies, test cases and supporting UAT.
• Expertise writing business requirements documents and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar project management tools.
• Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders, build consensus and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is looking for a Business Analyst to come aboard a contract opportunity. Summary: The Business Analyst is a key analytical role for a reorganization project with significant impacts to Workday and UKG (Kronos). This role turns transition scope into clear business requirements, testing strategy and a smooth hand-off to the business. The candidate will work with People Team, Business and IT Stakeholders, to understand how each system, process and integration is affected. This role documents requirements, defines the testing strategy and partners with the Organizational Change Management team so that employees, managers and HR teams are ready on day one.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst or HR/Payroll systems analyst

Preferred

• Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Workday/UKG certification
• Experience with JD Edwards (E.g. payroll, billing) and UKG/Kronos (e.g., Workforce Central or Workforce Dimensions)
• Experience with payroll and timekeeping concepts such as pay rules, accruals, earnings codes and payroll integrations
• Experience partnering with an organizational change management team
• Knowledge of HR data privacy, compliance and data governance practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
