Job summary

Intel is seeking a Business Analyst for a 12-month contract conducted primarily remotely from the United States. You will analyze complex business problems, decompose processes, and guide IT teams on required functionality and data quality.

The role emphasizes strong communication with senior stakeholders, UAT testing, and opportunities to influence end-to-end digital workflows, with a compensation package including stock bonuses and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Organizes design sessions and blueprinting for future state tool, process and people design.
• Identifies automation opportunities and coordinates with stakeholders on features or updates.
• Relays client feedback to development teams and assesses feasibility of proposed features.
• Tests feature prototypes with clients and records their experiences.
• Conducts user acceptance testing to verify alignment with requirements.
• Provides input on system design, functionality and data quality, and performs troubleshooting.
• Performs project management for smaller efforts, managing scope, time and quality across multiple initiatives.
• Records and reports critical KPIs to senior stakeholders and reviews reports for improvement opportunities.

• Analyzes complex business problems and develops recommendations, gathers and clarifies business requirements, answers questions about data elements and how they relate to business processes and workflows
• Works within the business process framework to decompose processes; analyzes, simplifies and optimizes processes based on findings
• Organizes business design sessions and blueprinting to arrive at the future state tool, process and people design
• Identifies automation opportunities and stays up to date on modern information technology (IT) tools and capabilities, coordinates with business and development team stakeholders whenever a new feature or update is added to a project
• Relays client feedback, instructs the development team to make amendments and determines the feasibility of proposed features
• Tests feature prototypes by involving clients and recording their experiences
• Conducts user acceptance testing to determine whether the prototype meets the requirements of the project under consideration
• Possesses strong communication and customer engagement skills, provides input to system design, making decisions for functionality and configuration, gauging and measuring data quality levels and providing troubleshooting support
• On smaller efforts, performs the project management function, including scope, time, and quality (including data quality) management and may work on several applications, projects and programs simultaneously
• Records, monitors and publishes critical project, program, process key performance indicators, documents progress and reports to senior stakeholders regularly
• Reviews existing reports, metrics, makes recommendations to improve quality and efficiency of business processes, when applicable

This position is for a 12-month temporary contract.
Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

OR

• Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Data Analytics or a related degree with 4+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role)

• Masters degree in Business Information Systems Data Analytics or a related degree with 3+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role)

Relevant experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role) includes:

• Proven experience gathering documenting and managing complex business and functional requirements
• Solid understanding of data structures data flows and data quality management
• Experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing UAT and validating solutions against requirements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects applications or programs

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $52,000.00-$200,000.00

Work Model for this Role This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
