Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in collaborating with publishers to optimize Xbox game sales in the digital store. This role requires a keen eye for detail and expertise in data analysis to understand and enhance pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and validate the pricing of Xbox games in the digital store, including discounts and regional nuances.
• Collaborate with internal teams on key launch ship-rooms and additional validation.
• Produce and maintain accurate monthly promotional reports for key financial meetings.
• Pull and validate internal special offer reporting summaries each month.
• Maintain and evolve monthly and semi-annual discount reports for enhanced publisher discussions.
• Support the Discounting Lead by analyzing promotional performance data and generating actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to enhance discounting strategies and maximize revenue impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft data-driven recommendations for improving publisher partnerships.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis to track sales performance and validate pricing.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Attention to detail for accurate price validation and data analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proven success on past projects.
• Strong interest and/or experience in the gaming industry.
• Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team and support leads.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, but candidates must be able to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours. The workweek is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM PST, without overtime. Standard equipment such as a laptop, mouse, headset, and extra monitor will be provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
