Job summary

Seneca Resources in the United States is seeking an experienced business analyst to support HR, operations, and shared services initiatives from a hybrid NYC area office. The role emphasizes process improvement, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.

You will map business processes, create Power BI dashboards, and help drive enterprise transformation across matrixed teams while managing multiple priorities with independence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, process improvement, or data analysis.
• Experience working within large, complex, or matrixed organizations.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations in Power BI.
• Strong business process mapping experience using Microsoft Visio.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, process improvement, or data analysis.
• Experience working within large, complex, or matrixed organizations.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, including:
• SharePoint
• Microsoft Teams
• OneDrive
• Excel
• Power BI
• PowerPoint
• Outlook
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data cleansing.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations in Power BI.
• Strong business process mapping experience using Microsoft Visio.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting HR, Operations, Shared Services, or Business Transformation teams.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP/HRIS platforms.
• Experience using project or task management tools.
• Experience creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Experience supporting enterprise process improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
