Job summary

System Soft Technologies in Lansing, MI seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst to partner with product owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams. You will support discovery, analyze business processes, coordinate UAT, and prepare training readiness while aligning solutions with business needs.

The role requires strong documentation, Agile SCRUM proficiency, and expert backlog management in Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience gathering requirements from users
• 6+ years of experience designing technical and business requirement documentation
• 4+ years of experience with Agile methodology / SCRUM processes and ceremonies
• 3+ years of experience maintaining Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks using Azure DevOps backlog management tools
• CBAP Certification (new requirement)

Responsibilities

• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to drive discovery and business process analysis.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and training readiness activities.
• Maintain and organize Epics, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps backlog.
• Bridge business needs with technical delivery to ensure adoption of solutions.

Job description

• - Interview Process: Virtual and in-person. 60-minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (video required).
• - Assignment duration: Initial 1-year contract with a possibility of extension based on performance and business needed.
• -Required onsite days- Wednesdays and Thursdays
• - Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will partner closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders,

project leadership, and delivery teams to support discovery, business process analysis,

user acceptance testing (UAT), training readiness, and Azure DevOps (ADO) backlog

management activities. This role serves as a bridge between business operations and

technical delivery teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and are

successfully adopted by end users.

Required Skills:

• -8+ years of experience gathering requirements from user
• -6+ years of experience designing technical and business requirement documentation
• -4+ years of experience with Agile methodology / SCRUM processes and ceremonies
• -3+ years of experience maintaining and organizing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks using Azure DevOps backlog management tools (Kanban board, Sprint board, etc.).
