Job summary

Technology Talent Network has a client in search of a talented Business Analyst. Location: Frisco, TX. Employment Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire / Full-Time.

Experience: 5+ Years. Work with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate needs into clear requirements. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, creating BRDs/FRDs and user stories, collaborating with teams, conducting elicitation, and supporting UAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct requirements elicitation sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.
• Support UAT by developing test scenarios and validating solutions.
• Track requirements and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
