Choisys-Technology is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge mission partners and its development team for MPJV, CVTEK. You will analyze complex workflows spanning hundreds of modules, translate mission needs into Agile user stories, and craft documentation, training, and decommissioning plans for a successful system migration.

This role requires collaboration with government partners, an active security posture, and experience in documenting requirements, planning migrations, and supporting UAT

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Experience as a business/functional analyst or in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Apply analytic methodologies to address mission needs and document acceptance criteria.
  • Decompose customer requirements into well-defined development artefacts for Agile sprint execution.
  • Review and update documentation for legacy modules prior to migration to ensure functionality and history are captured.
  • Draft and maintain Module Decommissioning Plans with comprehensive dependency analysis for migration.
  • Execute the ADDIE training lifecycle and create training curricula, demo videos, and facilitator guides.
  • Support UAT coordination with mission partners, develop user test scripts, and track UAT errors for backlog.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of issues and develop Tier I/II SOPs for incident resolution.
  • Facilitate Privacy Impact Assessments and Privacy Threshold Analyses to support RMF/compliance.

Our MPJV, CVTEK, is potentially seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the functional bridge between mission partners and the technical development team. In this role, you will analyze complex, legacy workflows spanning hundreds of modules, translate mission needs into Agile user stories, and formulate the documentation, training, and decommissioning plans critical to a successful system migration. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply analytic methodologies to address mission needs. Analyse and document business rules, functional capabilities, and acceptance criteria.
  • Decompose customer requirements into well‑defined development artefacts for Agile sprint execution.
  • Review, develop, and update documentation for legacy modules prior to migration to ensure functionality and development history are accurately captured for the target environment.
  • Draft and maintain Module Decommissioning Plans, utilizing comprehensive dependency analysis to guarantee all critical data is identified for migration.
  • Execute the ADDIE training lifecycle (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), conducting training needs assessments and creating user‑specific curricula, interactive demo videos, and facilitator guides.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination with mission partners, develop detailed user test scripts, load UAT test data, and track/prioritise UAT errors for the development backlog.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of common/known issues to allow user base self‑mitigation, and develop Tier I/II Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for incident ticket resolution.
  • Facilitate Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Privacy Threshold Analyses regarding PII data handling to support RMF and compliance activities.

Job Requirements
  • Location: Primary performance at the Contractor Site, with requirements to support classified/unclassified work at Government locations (Ft. Meade, MD).
  • Security Clearance: Must possess an active Secret security clearance (with IT‑I eligibility) and the ability to successfully pass enterprise‑level background suitability screening. U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Experience: Demonstrated professional experience in business/functional analysis or in a relevant field.
  • Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline (equivalent professional experience may be considered).
  • Certifications: Agile or Business Analysis certifications preferred.
