Job description

Dynamic Specialty Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business teams and technology resources by analyzing workflows, documenting processes, and translating operational needs into clear, actionable documentation and requirements. This role focuses on understanding how the organization operates across departments and ensuring those processes are accurately captured, standardized, and maintained.

The Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders across all departments to map current‑state processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and create structured documentation—including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process guides, and internal reference materials. This position emphasizes clarity, consistency, and organization, supporting operational efficiency, scalability, and cross‑department alignment.

  • Meet with several department leaders to understand current workflows, procedures, and operational practices.
  • Analyze and document business processes, identifying inputs, outputs, dependencies, and handoffs.
  • Translate informal or undocumented processes into clear, structured documentation.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and reference materials.
  • Create and maintain a centralized “process encyclopedia” or knowledge base for internal use.
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, or inconsistencies and document findings.
  • Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to validate documented processes.
  • Ensure documentation reflects actual practices and aligns with company standards and policies.
  • Support technology and system-related initiatives by providing clear business requirements and process context.
  • Assist with documenting system workflows, user interactions, and data touchpoints as needed.
  • Maintain version control and update documentation as processes evolve.
  • Support change initiatives by updating SOPs and communicating process changes clearly.
  • Act as a resource for teams seeking clarity on procedures or workflows.
  • Business Process Analysis — Strong ability to observe, analyze, and understand how work is performed across departments and functions.
  • Requirements Gathering — Effectively elicits information from stakeholders through interviews, meetings, and observation.
  • Process Documentation — Translates complex or informal workflows into clear, usable documentation and SOPs.
  • Systems & Workflow Awareness — Understands how systems, tools, and business processes interact; documents dependencies and impacts.
  • Analytical Thinking — Identifies process inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities through structured analysis.
  • Communication & Facilitation — Communicates clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders; facilitates productive discussions.
  • Written Communication — Produces well‑organized, concise, and professional documentation suitable for internal reference and training.
  • Organization & Attention to Detail — Maintains structured documentation libraries with accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaboration — Works cross‑functionally to ensure alignment between departments and shared understanding of processes.
  • Judgment — Distinguishes between stated processes and actual practices; asks follow‑up questions to ensure accuracy.
  • Adaptability — Able to work across changing workflows, systems, and priorities.
  • Process Discipline — Supports consistency, standardization, and repeatability across operations.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset — Seeks opportunities to simplify, clarify, and improve documentation and processes.
  • Professionalism — Demonstrates reliability, discretion, and accountability when working with sensitive operational information.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
