Business Analyst

Location: Falls Church, VA - National Capital Region (NCR)

Position Type: Full-time; Contract Award Contingency*

Contract Award Contingency: This position is advertised in anticipation of a potential contract award (Q4 2026) and is contingent upon the successful award of that contract. If the contract is not awarded, this position will not be filled.

Position Summary

The Business Analyst provides analytical support to the assigned program, collaborating with stakeholders and driving data‑driven decision‑making and reporting on program performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to small business participation, subcontracting, and program outcomes
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for weekly, monthly, and semi‑annual deliverables
• Monitor and synthesize information from multiple sources (emails, media, government databases) to identify trends and actionable insights
• Support strategic planning and goal‑setting for small business initiatives
• Draft executive summaries, presentations, and briefing materials for leadership
• Collaborate with the Data Analyst to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Assist in the evaluation of outreach events and recommend improvements
• Maintain documentation and records in compliance with procurement‑sensitive information handling requirements
• Support the Program Manager in preparing responses to government inquiries and audits
• Participate in meetings and provide subject matter expertise on small business analytics
• Stay current on federal acquisition regulations and best practices in data analysis
• Other relevant duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, economics, public policy, data analytics, or related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in federal acquisition analysis or industrial base analysis
• Meets U.S. citizenship and work eligibility requirements for federal contractors
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) secret clearance (if required)

Salary Range

$94,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and contract funding availability. Final compensation will be determined based on candidate experience, internal equity, and client contract requirements. Salary range shown is the good‑faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.
