Job summary

Automation Anywhere, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst in Bogota, Colombia to translate business challenges into scalable automation solutions.

You will partner with clients, solution architects, and delivery teams to identify opportunities and document clear functional requirements that enable automation initiatives. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years total work experience, with 3+ years in business analysis, process improvement, or automation within SaaS, consulting, or enterprise tech.
  • Professional English proficiency.
  • Experience supporting Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar RPA/AI solutions.
  • Strong skills in process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project environments.
  • Experience delivering for enterprise clients undergoing digital transformation.
  • Deep domain knowledge in Finance Operations, ITSM, or Supply Chain & Procurement is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process discovery workshops with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities across operational workflows.
  • Document current-state processes using structured methodologies including process maps, decision trees, and data flow diagrams.
  • Analyze process variability, exception handling, and business rules to determine automation feasibility.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and automation across enterprise workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for automation development teams.
  • Create user stories, process definition documents (PDDs), and automation design inputs.
  • Define acceptance criteria and success metrics for automation implementations.
  • Ensure requirements are aligned with platform capabilities and overall solution architecture.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers to refine automation designs.
  • Provide business context to ensure automation workflows meet operational requirements.
  • Validate that proposed solutions align with governance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Support the creation of scalable automation frameworks across enterprise environments.
  • Work with automation developers and QA teams through the implementation lifecycle.
  • Support testing activities including UAT, validation of outputs, and defect resolution.
  • Ensure automation solutions meet defined business requirements before production deployment.
  • Assist in developing operational documentation and user training materials.
  • Track automation outcomes against defined KPIs such as efficiency gains and throughput.
  • Identify opportunities for additional automation and process optimization.

The Business Analyst role is client-facing and translates business challenges into scalable automation solutions. This role partners closely with clients, solution architects, and delivery teams to identify automation opportunities, document business processes, and define clear functional requirements that enable the successful implementation of automation initiatives.

Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, the Business Analyst ensures that automation solutions align with business outcomes, reduce operational complexity, and deliver measurable value. This role is particularly important in supporting enterprise automation programs and large-scale Agentic Process Automation (APA) initiatives.

Location: Bogota, Colombia
You will make an impact by being responsible for:
Process Discovery & Analysis
  • Lead process discovery workshops with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities across operational workflows
  • Document current-state processes using structured methodologies including process maps, decision trees, and data flow diagrams
  • Analyze process variability, exception handling, and business rules to determine automation feasibility
  • Identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and automation across enterprise workflows

Automation Solution Design Support
  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers to refine automation designs

Delivery Collaboration & Testing
  • Work closely with automation developers and QA teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Support testing activities including user acceptance testing (UAT), validation of automation outputs, and defect resolution
  • Ensure automation solutions meet defined business requirements before production deployment
  • Assist in developing operational documentation and user training materials
Value Realization & Continuous Improvement
  • Track automation outcomes against defined business KPIs such as efficiency gains, error reduction, and operational throughput
  • Identify opportunities for additional automation and process optimization
  • Support the development of enterprise automation roadmaps and pipeline prioritization
  • Promote best practices in automation adoption across client organizations
You will be a great fit if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of overall work experience, including 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or automation initiatives within SaaS, consulting, or enterprise technology environments
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Experience supporting automation platforms such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar RPA/AI solutions
  • Strong experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder facilitation
  • Familiarity with automation delivery methodologies including Agile or hybrid project environments
  • Experience working with enterprise clients undergoing digital transformation initiatives
