Job summary

Southern Careers Institute invites applicants to join our team as an Instructor in Texas. You will share knowledge with students, contribute to a collaborative campus environment, and help improve student outcomes through engaging instruction.

The role requires delivering prepared curricula, planning lessons, and applying effective teaching strategies to support learners in business and administration disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required for faculty teaching business courses; if not in the assigned field, at least two years of related work experience or evidence of specialized training or competency is required.
• Proven ability to plan and organize instruction and meet diverse student needs.
• Experience or familiarity with HR/compliance, payroll is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and applies thorough knowledge of the teaching field and discipline.
• Plans and organizes instruction to maximize student learning and practice of excellence in teaching.
• Modifies instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse students’ needs.
• Prepare lesson plans and teach courses as prescribed by the approved institutional curriculum.
• Encourages development of communication skills and higher order thinking through assignments.
