About the Role:

Zensar Technologies is seeking an experienced Business Acceptance Tester (BAT) with strong expertise in Oracle ERP, Supply Chain Management, and Business/User Acceptance Testing to support critical business operations. This is a hybrid role requiring two days onsite per week in either San Jose, CA or Raleigh, NC.

As a key member of the delivery organization, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, end users, product owners, developers, and support teams to ensure enterprise applications meet business requirements and are production-ready. You will play a critical role in Business Acceptance Testing (BAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release validation, and quality assurance for Oracle ERP and Supply Chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for Oracle ERP and Supply Chain solutions.
• Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand end-to-end business processes, workflows, and operational requirements.
• Validate application functionality against documented business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test scripts, and testing documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Verify fixes and support regression testing activities for releases and enhancements.
• Ensure delivery quality and readiness prior to production deployments.
• Coordinate with distributed and dual-shore teams to support testing and project delivery objectives.
• Lead testing discussions, provide status updates, and drive issue resolution to meet project timelines.
• Support release validation and production readiness activities.

Required Qualifications:

Business Acceptance Testing & UAT Experience

• Hands-on experience performing:
• Business Acceptance Testing (BAT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Functional Testing
• End-to-End Business Process Validation
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Experience working directly with business users and operational teams throughout the testing lifecycle.

Oracle ERP & Supply Chain Expertise

• Strong functional and technical knowledge of:
• Oracle Order Management
• Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• Oracle Finance Modules
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12

Technical Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience validating application data and troubleshooting functional issues.
• Familiarity with enterprise application testing tools and defect tracking systems.

Agile Experience

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of:
• Sprint ceremonies
• Acceptance criteria

Professional Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Supply Chain Operations or Service Contract Management.
• Experience supporting large-scale Oracle ERP implementation or enhancement projects.
• Experience working within global, distributed, or dual-shore delivery models.Experience working with multi-vendor environments.Exposure to release management and production deployment activities.Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to drive delivery and execution.
