Job summary

Central States Bus Sales is seeking a Service Utility Technician in Oswego, Illinois to join the Service Department as a Full-Time Utility Person.

You will install dealer components, detail and prep buses for delivery, operate equipment, and assist in basic mechanical work and repairs. A clean driving record is required; CDL Class B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements are preferred but not required. We offer medical benefits, 401(k), vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive maintenance experience preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain dealer installed components (audio/visual equipment, radios, heaters).
• Detail and prep new and used buses for customer pick-up or delivery.
• Operate motorized and light equipment including pickup truck, pallet jack, pallet lift and various hand power tools.
• Change oil and filters in company vehicles and customer vehicles.
• Clean facilities and perform routine maintenance to automotive repair equipment.
• Assist in tire and mechanical repairs.
• Assist in mechanical, sandblasting, painting, cleanup, and simple automotive work.
• Delivery/shuttling of vehicles and parts.
