Sun Tran seeks a Road Safety Supervisor to monitor, evaluate, and improve safety performance of bus operations. Conduct on-road evaluations, respond to safety incidents, and support safety compliance and training programs.

Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Training to enforce road safety policies and develop SOPs; analyze safety data and trends to identify hazards and implement improvements. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of related experience including supervisory experience involving employee performance, work objectives, and performance evaluations.
• CDL or valid driver’s license required; able to obtain CDL within 90 days.
• Education: six months to one year of advanced study beyond high school or equivalent training.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and assess driver performance through on-road evaluations, surveillance, and field observations.
• Investigate bus accidents, incidents, and complaints; prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Training to enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Deliver and support safety training programs and refresher courses for bus operators.
• Analyze safety data and trends to identify hazards and recommend improvements to safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs in alignment with agency goals and regulatory standards.
• Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal transportation safety regulations through documentation and oversight.
• Participate in safety meetings and committees to promote a strong safety culture.
