Duties/Responsibilities

1. Safe operation of buses on route and occasional charters. Percentage of time: 80%
2. Wash buses and perform other non-driving related duties as required from time to time. Percentage of time: 10%
3. Complete paperwork associated with assignments. Percentage of time: 5%
4. Attend safety meetings as occasionally scheduled. Percentage of time: 5%

Minimum Qualifications

Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters. Complete paperwork associated with assignments. Follow written and verbal instructions as required by supervisory personnel. Occasional bus washing and other non-driving tasks are required from time to time. Applicants must submit to drug and alcohol testing as required by the US Department of Transportation.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Ability to demonstrate a safe driving record, good communications skills and the ability to work with other people of various backgrounds and skill levels.

Physical Demands

Sitting for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Driving.
